Mikacin 100 MG Injection is an antibiotic. It is used to prevent or treat a wide variety of bacterial infections such as infections of the lungs, skin, abdomen, blood, brain, urinary tract, bones and joints. It works by blocking the production of essential proteins required for bacterial growth. This prevents further growth and kills the infection-causing bacteria. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses.
